DIY Corner Bookmark

So I started reading agian despite of my busy time line. I discovered this corner bookmark and learned to do it. It is really easy and very accurate! :) enjoy!

Stuff you will need:

1. Regular white paper or construction paper. Any size will be good :)

2. Ruler

3. Pencil and marker

4. Glue or tape

5. scissors

6. eraser

7. colored markers

STEP ONE: Take your paper, pencil and ruler and draw a square on the corner of your paper. It can be as big as you want. Mine was 2” by 2”.

STEP TWO: Turn your paper so your square now looks like a diamond then draw a horizontal line at the corner of the square. This line will help you with the next steps.

STEP THREE: Draw two vertical lines as shown.

STEP FOUR: Draw two opposite diagonal lines as shown.

STEP FIVE: Cut out the shape I outlined.

STEP SIX: Erase the pencil or you can just leave it there. It doesn’t really matter.

STEP SEVEN: Take one flap and connect it to the corner of the square. Fold it.

STEP EIGHT:Do it on the other flap too.

STEP NINE: Glue the two flaps together but DON’T glue it to the actual square.

STEP TEN: Press down and crease the folds.

STEP ELEVEN: Take the bottom corner of the square and insert it in between the glued flaps and the actual square.

STEP TWELVE: Crease the folds. And voila! You have your own corner bookmark. :) all you need to do is decorate it.
